Anyone with MOBA or RTS experience should have a good handle of the controls right away. While this change makes the game far less distinct visually, it should make it much more approachable. The new Lord of Vermillion Arena keeps the card game aspect of the original, but ditches the 3D camera style in favor of a traditional isometric MOBA view. It seems now that the game was not abandoned, instead developer Square Enix has taken the time to completely remake the game. The game was shut down last year in its home market of Japan before ever making it to the West. Japanese Card Game/MOBA hybrid Lord of Vermilion Arena is making a comeback.
